The Solar Heat Biography

The Solar Heat is a band of brothers from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. They have been playing as a band now for 5 years. Cody and Mack are twins, and are 13 years old; and C.J. is 15 years old. C.J. plays guitar and sings. Cody plays bass guitar, keyboard, and sings. Mack is on drums.

The band has over 400 songs in their repertoire, and plays a wide variety of music including classic rock, southern rock, country and blues. They play regularly at area restaurants and festivals. They played at the Finale party for United Way of Acadiana. Louisiana musician, Marc Broussard, was the spokesperson for the United Way, and the boys covered his song Home. They also opened for local musician Chris Leblanc at Phil Brady's in May, and opened for national act, Aly and AJ at Blue Bayou in July. They were the feature band at Sullivan's twice during the summer.

The band is currently working on original music for their first CD.
